Training "Art of Discussion and Inclusion"
Bfree is pleased to partner in the project "Art for Discussion and Inclusion" of the association "Razmah", which will take place between 11th and 21st April 2023 in Pleven, Bulgaria.
What is the program?
"Art for Discussion and Inclusion" is a project that aims to empower young people from different vulnerable (marginalised) groups to express their needs and feelings and share their stories with local communities. For this purpose we will use ART and MOVEMENT.
We already did it once...
We already did it once, in 2021. We've achieved great local impact, involving people of different ages, backgrounds and cultures in one creative flow. We bonded while expressing our authenticity and having fun.
We're making waves. First, we organized training for youth leaders, mentors and trainers. They learn how to use creative tools in their work with people and use art to create deeper connection. Then they go back to their country and give those tools to the people they work with. They empower them to use these tools to express themselves in their local community. Together we create impactful and connecting local action.
WHAT WE DO TO ACHIEVE OUR GOALS
During the training participants will experience and learn:
- Group dynamics and group coaching
- Storytelling as a method for social inclusion
- Impromptu theatre as a method for emotional expression and communication
- "Theatre of the oppressed" and how to use it to provoke discussion
- How to use social entrepreneurship tools to create a cultural product and present it to the local community
